Wise men and opening up

I have no idea why I stopped writing. I suspect it was an unintended consequence of covid, it could also have been related to taking on a monster role in HR that I had no background in (so in true me-fashion, I said yes and learned all I could, both on the job and academically). I ended up being really rather good at that job.. but why I left is not for this format.

A wise man once said to write for 10 minutes a day and some more wise men said to write when your energy is high. So this is me, about to head off to do some work and then see some friends, carving out ten minutes to write anything, literally a stream of consciousness, to get the habit back.

I have 4 minutes to go.. so what is left in my head. My husband just popped into say there is an amaxing interview with Dele Ali that he is listening to. He was very emotional. I am a huge fan of the male species - let's face it, this 4th wave of feminisim is all about equality for all - so I am a big champion when some speak openly about what is really going on behind the pictures and images shared on the media.

Which leads me neatly into my forthcoming weekend in a field with Russell Brand and Wim Hof...
