A very wet dog walk

 

Day two of a new year, and you can't really bail on your intention to walk 'whatever the weather'.

But it was so wet today. The sort of rain that is relentless and drenches you extremely quickly.

Even the dog looked at me wondering if we would continue.

But continue we did, along with a handful of other dog walkers (clever folks with coats for their dogs, I am not a clever folk) and a few teenagers with bare heads. I wondered if they were trying to feel something. It's not an easy time of the year for some.

But for me and my dog, it was a good walk, today I only needed to feel my feet hitting the earth.

And lots of fun was had once we were back at home - trying to capture a wet spaniel with a small hand towel...
